large watchman goby

I just got a 3.5 inch watchman, and as soon as i put him in the tank i noticed him eating bristle worms. Is this good or bad? Just because i like the worms, but i guess i dont really need them. Will he try to eat hermit crabs also? thanks! mike

also, i have quite a few tube worms, will he try to eat them?

to add to that, i have a pistol shrimp, will a large watchman try to eat a pistol or pair up with him? this would be a mismatch lol because it is a huge watchman! lol

Make sure the watchman is well fed. I've kept two large watchmans, a bluespotted (rip) and a pinkspotted that I have now. Didn't have a pistol with the bluespotted, but he was in a tank with fire and cleaner shrimp and he left them alone. He was big enough to eat whole pieces of krill off a feeding stick. The only thing I ever saw him eat in the tank was a nassarius snail that had fallen down into his hole. Great fish, he was 4"+ and fat when he died

I think that's what they do in the wild. He should be fine...
