Hey all,

Just stated this thread to document the build of our 150 reef tank....

This is a family project of Dad (me) and my 2 kids Jason (8) and Evan (5)


Some highlights of this project are

Starphire custom Tank 60x24x24 open top Euro Brace

Fauna Marin Starfire Fixture (8 T5) SHimmer Led Dimmable via ghl profilux
(2) Profilux LED sticks installed in fixture to handle sunrise, sunset, and storms....

GHL Profilux Controller

GHL PTC Cooling/Heating System

Alpha 200 Cone Protein Skimmer

150 Pounds Marco Rocks Fiji Rock (Currently cooking in garage)

Tunze Streams (2) 6105 (2) Nano streams all controlled by profilux

I guess thats enough for now.....

I'll upload some photos of the light fixture with the modification that Seant was kind enough to help me with how to do the modification for the Profilux LED sticks....

nice sump and skimmer. So the return on the sump will be at the middle? I don't see the bubble trap from skimmer compartment.

Refugium is in the middle. Right section will have return pump
