Lear Frag swap

Anybody thinking about going up to Cleveland for the Lear Frag swap on Feb 20th. Maybe we could organize a "Road Trip" up there for anybody interested.

I always enjoy frag swaps- even if I don't buy anything. It is about 2 hours from the Turnpike exit that is close to my house in Gibsonia.

Just post here and we can organize as we go.

PMASI is organizing the annual LEAR trip. I am looking for volunteers to drive and a list of members wanting to go. The club is paying for gas for vehicles and the admission for members to enter the event. Please give me a call or send me a message if interested. 412-657-7586.

Well - "kind of"- its not working well and I believe the club leadership is working on trying to correct the issues. So most our local traffic on the web occurs here on R/C.

Jamie- do you a have time and place setup that we can meet and go as a club activity yet? Let me know where/when so I can determine if I can make that or if I will just go by myself. Thanks

Yep = I have frag saved from Gunner off of Reeftrader. However, I also like just going and shopping while there, because much of the stuff available will not be listed on Reeftrader. Especially from the various vendors. Its kind of fun being surprised at what you find while walking around, rather than having everything pre-purchased.

I had to decide on when I am leaving because of work scheduling. So, I will be leaving at 11 AM - arriving just before 1 PM. I am sure the club is leaving earlier than that- so I will see you guys there.

Pmasi is hosting a trip to LEAR. as our February meeting. We are meeting at the perkins restaurant, located at 20013 U.S. 19, Cranberry pa, 16066 at 7:30am for breakfast. We will be leaving perkins at 8:30 am in order to arrive at the swap by 10:30 am. We are carpooling to the event. The club will pay for members admission and gas/tolls for carpooling drivers. Who ever may be interested, please send me a pm or call/text 412-657-7586.

See you there- sorry I could not take the day off and go with your guys. Maybe we could all go out to eat afterwards?

Since I have not been to a swap in years- I cant remember how I kept live goods healthy on the ride home and during the 4-5 hours when at the swap. I remember toting around a cooler for inside the swap ,but I cant remember if I set something up to put stuff in while driving home = A small holding tank with light, air, and circulation. Any ideas? or NOT necessary?

not necessary IMO, if you going to be there a long time then maybe a heat pack for your cooler. I always think about getting a shipment in the mail and how long that takes 12-18 hours? You will be fine 4-6 hours.

maybe Thursday- I will call you if I am able to get out to u. How is your new system coming?
