hi , a friend brought a leather witch spended 6 h . in a plastic bag with some water . it is shrinked completly with some some decomposing tissue .his smel is fishy but not so bad . how can i know if it is dead or not

They will do that when stressed, they also sloth off tissue to shed. I would place it low in your tank with medium flow.

it is not shedding at all , i am keeping lathers more then one year , the dead tissue is thrue all the thickness of the edge in some places and it is changing color to black

black means necrotic/dead. if you don't cut away the black ( and into healthy tissue) the whole thing will probably be gone in a week or two.

Just keep an eye on it, do not count a leather coral out. When it starts to go you will know when to pull it out if you have to.

I have had small patches of a Sinularia turn black and die, just the surface layer due to rubbing against rock. They can recover so long as it's not severe.
