Leather matted filefish, or Aptasia eating filefisf

Was contemplating getting one of these guys for my Aptasia problem.I have a mixed reef, I've heard of these guys nipping on Lps,ie frogspawn,galaxy,bubble, does anyone know if these guys nip at sps? I've heard they "only" nip at stinging celled corals.Any info? Thanks

we kept a pair in a setup with a few palys, zoas, and GSP...they didn't seem to bother them. i can't speak for keeping them in a reef tho.

I have one in my 120 with SPS, LPS, and some Zoas. The only coral he has touched has been the zoanthids, and he only nipped at them in the beginning on days when I did not feed nori. He only nipped at the zoas near where the nori is placed. After he started eating the aptasia he left them alone.

I have one in my 187 he hasn't touched a single coral or aptasia either... He really hasn't solved any problem for us we even put him in a 12 gallon biocube w/ aptasia covered rocks didn't even try it but he is really cool to look at.

Just get a whole bunch of peppermint shrimp, they do a really good job.
