I have a large leather toad stool and over the weekend it has developed raised marks that look like lentle seeds. I am not sure what this is. It is in a 150 gal reef system with many soft corals. Forgive my spelling on this any andy future posts. Just bacame a member today.

Thanks
John

I will try to get one. Thanks for the reply. I too think it could be propagation but I have had it for 2 years and this is the first time

There is a bacteria that humans carrie that is not harmful to us but is very harmful to leather corals, i wonoder if that is what it is. This However can be corrected with drying yoru hands with ethanol before you put yoru hand sint eh tank, using sanitizer works just the same.

There appears to be no treatment for it, the best thing to do is either cut out the infected area or make sure you sanitize yoru hands with Alchohol and let them dry before you place them in the tank and it will eliminate any tranfer of the bacteria into the tank.
