LED fixture thread

I have been considering the big switch from MH to LED. The DIY LED threads are great, but the project honestly just seems a little too time consuming and a little imposing as well. So I have been searching for good fixtures and can't figure out which ones are good. i need something that will be able to dim white and blue seperately, and "ramp" up and down. Is there a commercially available, high quality fixture on the market that can meet my specs? (I know I am looking at some serious money here, but I believe you get what you pay for with this kind of stuff) Thanks in advance

AquaIlluminations is by far the most popular with the most postive reviews. Great support, and they are in line with the stupid Orbitech patent, so they should be around a while. They also have made their fixtures uprgradeable.

It would be what I would be going with if I were not a sucker for punishment and about to start my own DIY led fixture....

good luck with that, how bout I send you some money and you build 2 at once lol...jk...:spin1:thanks, I will look into the AI

Pacific Sun and Vertex are also some I have read about that get solid reviews. Order me one of whatever you get :).

i think i would have a hard time choosing between the vertex and the AI...they both look awsome...my tank is 6' long so I would be looking at $3300 for the AI and $3800 for the vertex inc controllers = tax and shipping...big nut, but probably worth it worth it...(to me, not the wife, :twitch:)

I have 6' long i highly recommend that you don't get the 6' fixture if going vertex you just dont need it
