LED Help.

Ok folks, I just got half of my LED's up and running and I have the meanwell driver set at 750mA, with a 5v wallwart going to the POT. Out of curiosity does the size of the wall wart (up to 10v) determine how bright the LED's will get? Also can the Cree (12) leds take more than 750mA to get brighter? Just curious as im looking to maximize my light output for my 26 gal bowfront. This is still someone new to me. Thanks again everyone.

I could be wrong, but I think you would get more responses in th DIY section. I'm pretty sure xpe leds can be run up to 1 amp, and xpgs can go to 1.5 amp.

How did you set the driver at 750? The voltage across the DIM + and Dim - are a partial factor in determining LED brightness. There also 2 internal controls. What kind of Cree? As mentioned that makes a big difference.

I assume this is an ELN driver.

1) set the maximum current that you want (depends on LED type) with the internal SVR controls when the dim + and - have 10 volts across them
2) then you can use the external pots (with a 10 volt signal) to determine the actual current that you want
