Exactly.. plus there will be bugs in the controller. To be totally geeky, it should have a usb or ethernet interface to program it.

Well, if it has Ethernet interface for monitoring it. It can be turn on or off remotely. If there are sensors, it can be monitor temperature, water parameters. Wouldn't that be great.
