This is an email I received form someone that is involved:
This site that goes directly to the petitions is: <http://www.climatelaw.org/media/UNESCO.petitions.release>
We filed in Nov, 2004; in July, 2005, the WHC said they would put ââ"šÂ¬Ã…"œclimate changeââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ on the agenda. Now, we have gotten them to call for a meeting of experts and we are sending a reef scientist to Paris, to present on the coral bleaching, etc. - that is in March. Letters of support, by reef scientists, would be helpful. I am not sure what else. Though I canââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t speak for the other countries, we, in Belize, are doing this all at no pay, because it is the right thing to do. The other countries have public interest lawyers, so even if they are paid, it isnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t much.
