Lennardi Wrasse Questions

Hi All,

So I got really lucky and won a Lennardi Wrasse in a drawing from my LFS. Due to how rare they are, I'm not finding tons of information on them. Any info to help me properly take care of this guy is appreciated including but not limited to qt procedures (ttm or copper), food they love, etc. I'm extremely excited and normally I would be way more prepared before purchasing but I can't turn the holy grail of wrasses down.

Thanks
Jay Schulz

I was thinking the same but I'd also hate to introduce any parasites or diseases.

I know what ya mean but that fish really needs to go into a well established tank. I would almost b tempted to remove all my other fish n put them into temporary tanks and drop the wrasse in the main display lol. That's 1 high dollar fish but very pretty!

Very difficult wrasse to keep long term. Like mentioned before going into a established reef tank would be the best environment

If you have a spare tank, take sand out of your DT, rock and water. Put the wrasse in there and continually put chaeto and some established rubble into that tank while you observe for a while. Temp fluctuations seem to be a downfall to these guys apparently
