Leonardo has done it again. The Formosa Forest was a true inspiration for me. It's really nice to Leonardo exceed our expectations once again. The bare bottom layout and careful SPS placement make a living work of art.
Your equipment list is impressive, coupled with your husbandry those SPS really "pop." I think I missed it, what bulbs are you running?
I just bought a Nikon D40 to play with. I'm fairly impressed with it so far, but I might return it and pick up the same, or a D50 with a Macro lense. I've been curious about those Canon Evolts- but know little about them.
Your equipment list is impressive, coupled with your husbandry those SPS really "pop." I think I missed it, what bulbs are you running?

Thanks Reeferpnoy! Most of these colonies came out of my previous tank and now have all the room to grow larger.
Ed; even with the 6101 Streams close to the surface, I don't have problems with air suctions. I do get the typical vortecs sometimes, but they never reach the pump intake. Maybe the high flow prevent the vortecs to reach the pump intakes.
Austin; Thank you! I have also bad experiences with trading with other reefers. It caused a mayor AEFW infection in my Formosa Forest. Never want to experience that again.

InsaneClownFish; I use Aqua Connect 14000 Kelvin SE bulbs. They are burned with Lumatek E-Ballasts that burn them as intense as a Magnetic ballast. (even a bit more bright)
This makes the bulbs look crisp white, without losing the pink and purple colours. The PAR is also very high. I use two Lumenarc III Reflectors for them.
Lumatek E-ballast. I'm very pleased with them.
Supplemental lighting:
2 x two 80 Watt T5 (overdriven) Aqua Science Bulbs. (one blue and one DUO)
2 x two 24 watt T5 (overdriven) Giessemann Bulbs. (one Blue and one White)
ATI Powersafe T5 Pendants
You can see the different components in this picture.

I'm going to take a second look at those Lumantek E-Ballasts. I was planning on going with the SLS compatible Galaxy Ballasts for my supplemental Lumenmax 3 pendants. I assume those Lumanteks are compatible with DE HQI bulbs. I wonder how they would light up a couple Phoenix 14ks.

Do you find that light bleeds into your room without an enclosure around your reflectors? It looks like you angled your T5 reflectors inward. If so, I imagine that helps a little. I really like it though, it's got a cool industrial look to it IMO. I hope you don't mind me copying it?
BTW, did you powder coat the outsides of your Lumenarcs too?

paulthomas; Because of the width of my tank, the light doesn't spill over the edges of my tank. The additional T5 reflectors help to direct all the light in the right way

Thats why I chose for an open aluminium structure, showing the reflectors and pendants. All in an aluminium or powdercoated silver finish.
I already liked the aluminium look of the Lumenarcs, so I did now powdercoated them. I did treated the inside and outside with a (clear) anti-corrosive coating. This also protect the insides of the Lumenarcs and T5 reflectors against saltwater splashed and corrosion stains.
Feel free to copy my design! If you have more questions, you can always ask them.

ksed; I'm verry happy with it. It is easy to ajust and I can control the nutrient level in the tank very well.
Chris; Of course I would I think this is the most ideal tank to grow large tabling Acropora. Because I wanted some diversity, I also have some non tabling SPS.
Besides that I use almost no liverrock in my aquascapes (Lagoon and Formosa Forest) so I don't lose any height. And I like the lagoon-style look of course
