Chrisrush; I'm not sure... I prefer to have too much light that I can ajust in duration of lighting, then weaker lighting for a longer period time.
Also the spread made me choose for 400 Watt bulbs. Every bulb (without looking at the T5) covers an area of 43"x32"
Watts compared to surface area:
Formosa Forest: 596 Watt on 32"x32" (0.58 Watt/")
Lagoon: 1216 Watt on 63"x43" (0,45 Watt/")
So per sq " it is less light actually

JCurry; Thank you very much for the compliment.
This tank will also have the Japanese inspired Formosa Forest look, only with tabling Acropora corals, and less Staghorns.
I ordered the ATI 80 Watt T5 pendants in Germany. The bulbs also came from Germany (I live next to Germany so it is easy for me...)
I would suggest Aqua-Science bulbs. They're the best available at the moment.
I'm not sure where to put the Spotlights, I have to search for a spot to mount them to the lightrack
