Leopard Wrasse ID

I was sold a large male Ornate Leopard, but after looking at pictures online, I'm not sure if it really is an Ornate. After reviewing pictures of various Leopard Wrasses on Google, I think it might be more likely to be a Potter's or a male Meleagris Leopard. Any Wrasse experts have an opinion?

I think it's an awesome fish regardless of the species, but it's a lot bigger than I expected. It ate on the first day and stayed out in the open for at least eight or nine hours. The Tangs tried to intimidate him when he was first introduced, but he just ignored them and went about his business.

Even though they're pretty good shots, I cannot really see well enough to say for sure. Potters will have a pretty clear yellow background color, versus male Meleagris that will not. I agree that it doesn't really look like an ornate. I'd lean male potters.

Thanks for the feedback. I took about 10 shots and these were the closest I can get to get its colors right. My lighting makes iPhone pictures look way bluer than in real life.

It's got a bright yellow, slightly orange base with blue spots. And a red blotch on the front of its dorsal fin and on the edge of its anal fin. I have no idea how the sellers got him mixed up with an Ornatus.

I thought that Potter's were on the tricky side and males especially are hard to ship. But it acted like it just fit in from day one. It's on about the same schedule as my other two Leopards and is eating more aggressively each day. Five days in and so far so good.

I hope your "others" are female.

Yes, one female Meleagris and one female Bipartitus. Both fat and happy. All three pretty much do their own thing, checking each other out when they swim past each other.

I was thinking multiple males of different species should be fine together, no?

Thanks for the verification, Hunter and Steve, I was hoping one of you would chime in!
