Here's a video i got 2 days ago when both the wrasses were out! Sorry super shaky and I was really excited that the other one came out and was alive :D In the end the other one goes into the sand because the yellow wrasse scared it.

They look beautiful! I got a Corriss Wrasse today from UnclePain. It swam around for 5 minutes or so then off he went into sand. I really hope he pops out soon.

Haha thanks! Im sure it will come out soon! When I got my yellow corriss wrasse came out the next day happy as a clam checking his new home out :)

Thanks hopefully they will stay that way and start eating other foods other than mysis :D Bratyboy2: What we did is cut out a piece of plastic the size of the width of the tank and when the dotty back would go to one end of the tank we then slowly put it in the tank slowly. It took about less than 10 minutes for the dotty back to check it out and feel some what comfortable with it. Since its clear it didnt look like anything was in the water. Once the plastic board was fully in the tank it was easier to catch the fish since there was less room to chase it around :) It was alot easier to catch mine since it was always on the left side of the tank and it was even easier because it hid in a rock once it found out i was after it and all I had to take the rock out! :) Good luck catching yours! Mine was a mean one.

How are your blue stars doing? Here is a picture of my meleagris, still in the fuge. Eating Mysis with enthusiasm, but is a very twitchy fish and I am concerned that she will struggle to do well in my somewhat 'active' DT.

Anyhow, crappy photo, but ....

I have mine with three large tangs four other sand dwelling wrasses, with no fighting. a very good searcher of pests. constantly probing all my rock work, along with a Christmas wrasse, a malarines and grass wrasse. I love these fish:)

Nice fish! I want to get a meleagris sometime! But everytime i got one from liveaquaria it wouldnt make it from the shipping. So far one of my bluestar wrasse ou all day just grazing for pods on the rocks! I havent seen the other one for 3 days :( it didnt eat much when i fed it, Hopefully its somewhere still alive

Thanks Chris, that's good to know. I think my issue is going to be too many fish in too small of a tank. Already have two Hippos, a Yellow, and a Dusky Wrasse in a 90 (I know ....).

Tang police sirens are sounding in the background! Their on there way!

I actually used to be one - how's that for hypocrisy: 'my only excuse, your Honor, is that I bought an established tank setup from a fellow reefer, so, you see, it is really his fault' :)

Ooohhhh lol jk

Your meleagris looks much more black/white than mine does - I wonder if mine is male-ifying? Do they change gender in the absence of a conspecific I wonder?

Heading down to Yonkers to Maximum Reefs (lame name, but GREAT store with head-scratchingly low prices) this weekend to see if I can get a coupel more, only paid $20 for the first one.
