Less prom Small Angles of picking

Hey everyone I'm interested in putting an angle in my tank but would like to keep a reef tank and at some point put a clam or two in. Are there certain angles that are less pron to pick at corals and clams?

50 gallon. Younger tanker about 6 months. I have had a bunch of tanks in the past and moved so had to take them down. Also never tried and Angel before. No fish yet just starting up in the fish area. Been focusing on growing out the corals at the moment. I really like the flame angel but I'm not set on that.

Yes there were spelling issues blah blah blah and now to the point. Any insight anyone? Maybe a coral beauty? Just looking for peoples personal experience

50g tank is too small for a Genicanthus angels ... Personally I would take the chance with a Flame or Coral Beauty...but try to keep it 'well fed'

Pretty much all dwarf angels nip at some point and to some extent. Sometimes it can take years... or sometimes their nipping is just an every now & then sorta thing. Something you can live with. Or they only nip at certain corals.

However IME; trying to house any angelfish with a clam is almost impossible. They just can't seem to resist. Same goes for zoas.

IMO, if you are successful at keeping dwarf angels for longer periods of time, you will have picking problems on clams and LPS at least. If you plan to keep neither of these groups of animals, then dwarfs should be fine.

If your tank was mature with pods and sponges perhaps a Venustus, Colini or Multi-Bar.

While it isn't a coral... My current Venustus has been picking at my S. haddoni anemone. Fear that the angel will lose that battle one day. At least the 210 is getting closer to being ready for water.
