Sad to say that the female Blue Jaw Trigger didn't make it home, it was DOA. Guess the water just got too cold. I tried to keep them warm in my car on the way home, (heater set to 78 and heated seats turned on) but she was kind of lying on her side in the bag while still at the party. It was probably just a combination of the stress and drop in temperature. Very sad. The male, however, is doing very well. He's absolutely beautiful and even ate some mysis today. He's very healthy looking and his colors are stunning...just hope he doesn't miss his girlfriend too much. Poor thing, I guess I should have come a bit more prepared and brought a couple heat packs with me...
The zoas that I picked up ended up being a nice mixture of Ring of Fires and Whammin' Watermelons. Very nice combination of colors, and a huge polyp count. Very impressive frag...I couldn't tell what they'd look like when I picked them, but I'm really glad I grabbed them. VERY NICE!
pics to come...
