Looking great Mike! Is that Green and pink M. Venosa (never seen another one like this...its like the sand dollar monti, but with a green base) the piece you got from me?
Thanks Austin.
tbone - I did, but at the end of the day, decided I liked the 4' bulbs better. I'm glad I went with them, because I keep all my walls clean of rockwork, so lighting up the edges would really just be a waste. I mainly keep LPS at the edges, as I've found T5s bleach most LPS that are put directly underneath them (another reason I'm glad I went with the 4' fixture, as I like to mix in a few LPS with the SPS).
Thank you. That's good to know. I have a 72" tank. Just sold (2) 36" Powermodules, to be replaced with (1) 8x80w Powermodule, and was concerned with unlit ends. Looks like I can place some LPS on the ends now
I think you'll be happy with this...half the bulb replacement cost, and more growth in the areas under the fixture (since an 80w puts out more PAR per inch). Plus it leaves some room for you to access the tank without knocking into your fixture.
No...I got it from DD awhile back. The one I got from you (that originated from fijiblue) is in the last set of pics. Its the one with the yellow/green base and purple polyps.

Or are you talking about this one I got from you?

I made the switch mainly for bulb-replacement costs, but it's great to learn that it puts out more PAR
I hope my tank turns out as nice as yours. I have been tagging along since your early build stage
You had it right, I thought that the DD piece was the piece from fijiblue.
I do need to get a piece back of the green and red one pictured above as well as I lost my frag.
Corals are looking great!
Sara - whenever you want, I can get you a frag of an identical aussie piece from DD...that piece is in a bad spot for fragging, but the DD piece is actually plating a bit because of its location, so its easy to frag. Its this one...I can't tell the difference:
And some sunday pics:

This is the same coral as the ATL "jack rose" montipora that Ming had briefly. Nice pics!
