Here is mine:
This is a female Heteractis crispa (one of the 'sebae' anemones). She is roughly 24" (size is variable--sometimes a bit more, sometimes less). She has been in my care for roughly 11 years.

This is my large sebae I've had about 7 months. If it gets any bigger I'll have to get a larger aquarium just for it! It is now hosting 2 baby tomatoes.

these are my favorite anemones. big surface area with tentacles long enough for clowns to really get into. i would love to have one, just dont have the space in my 20H.

I love all the pics, but I was curious, how do you know it's a female? I've read that these are male or female, but I don't remember reading how to tell the difference. I have an h. crispa and would love to know if we have a boy or girl.
Also, I love the purple sebaes! I have to admit, I'm a little jealous. Mine is the beige color, and purple is my favorite color! These look great! I wonder if I can get a picture of mine uploaded. I'll have to look into that

It would be neat to know an external difference, but the only reason I know it is a female is because she spawns relentlessly. I have to do major water changes after each spawn and it smells up the whole house. It is not uncommon for her to release eggs at least 2-3 times per year and she has been doing it for the past ten years. Some pics in my gallery of the events--not very good, though.
Love the pics. It's good to see that there are examples of Sebae living for long periods in captivity. I've red that they dont do well long term. I have five sexy shrimp in my tank that love my anemone. They are always on it but they dont seem to bother the Sebae. Will they eventually harm it or is this nomal behavior. BTW my Sebae is about 4-5 inches.

i think sebaes are a lot hardier than most people think, they just dont handle shipping very well. i really want one of these!!! i hate having to be a responsible reefer!!!

I just got a sebae not too long ago. It went behind my rocks for about two months. I thought it was done, but it came out about a month ago and footed itself in the sand and looks amazing but its bleached with a neon pink rim around its mouth. My clarki pair are hosting it and seem to be enjoying it.

Wow great anemones guys. This is my second favorite anemone first being a RBTA. I tried to save one of these but unfortunately it died. Keep the pics coming.

Love them clownfish.
this is the most recent one i have of my h. crispa. im a new parent, having this for under a year. its big enough, some 20" now, that im thinking of finding some anemone shrimp to also go in it.
