They were supposed to be barnacle blennies. I had ordered 4 barnacle blennies online and 2 of them were these guys. These were nicer fish, always out and about, ate hair algae and stayed small (about 2" long)


They did have a nasty habit of biting chunks off of my snails occasionally

What kind of pistol shrimp is that which you have paired up with your candy cane goby(mislabeled?)

It is a Randall pistol shrimp, they do not need to be bought as a pair.

I have a yellow watchman and a hi-fin goby who have both paired with the same Randall's shrimp.
