Roger, I am confused. In this thread you state that you know your lokani is the 20k? Then you just started another thread asking for differences between the 20k and 30k and what yours may be? It looks like a nice lokani, but to call it a 20k or 30k or whatever without any factual basis is wrong IMO. I hope you don't ever sell frags of your "20k" labeled as such...

If you look hard enough you will see I just got this piece and I was told it was 20k as I stated 2ok or 30k or 50k doesn't matter I like it period lurk enough and you will see I have yet to sell any frags of anything and simply looking for the differences between the two if any exist if so pics are preferred as I have seen this coral called both 20 and 30k sometimes one post has nothing to do with the other post that is why I posted twice just searching for clarity on the issue would you have any facts which point to the differences in both pieces ?
Still searching for the intel.. I hear one is more purple and one is more blue but which one? any intel is appreciated.:reading:
Roger

Wow, that horse you're sitting on is really really tall!

Getting a bit off topic, I think it's a very valid concern. True 20,000 Leagues(almost a pure lavender color) is very rare, so rare it may not even exist anymore. Any 20K frags with documented lineage would be worth much more than the 30K. Ethically and to some degree, legally, if you don't know 100% that it came from a particular lineage, you should not sell it as so. It's like selling a fake Rolex at real Rolex prices or a mutt dog as a Yorkshire Terrier.

As a recommendation for the OP, just call it a lokani or attach your own name to it.

I disagree! I hate all these names people attach. I hate the high prices. But there is no real way to prove what your buying and selling and you would have no legal basis to go after anyone. I personally only pay for a coral on its looks not its name. If someone doesn't know for sure but was told or believes it is a 20k and the buyer is willing to pay that price, then so be it. I believe Roger had no bad intent and sorry to OP for OT. Let's get back to sharing great PE! 😃

If you personally only pay for the looks and quality of the coral and not the name (as does any intelligent reefer)... Than why are you complaining?
