What do you set on your white LEDs? Mine set 60% white and most of my SPSs mid-tank will bleach.

coloration. imo. for some reasone nothing makes my corals pop like vhos, i have tried lots of different t5s over one of my tanks, but i just dont get it. the LEDs seem to cast a decent blue to help highlight, but turn on my vhos, and the color just POPs.

I think LEDs will be where it is at in the future, i just dont think they are quite there yet.

Wow to me coloration is extremely personal taste, I haven't seen anything on this thread to say LED coloration is sub-par on the contrary. I haven't seen any picture on this thread to support the color pop argument for MH. Why don't we have direct comparison on the same tank MH vs LED picture.

I have a standard 90 and 2 AI's is plenty of coverage at 12" above the surface...

I recently found out that 40% white to 75% blue at "peak" hours seems to give similar look to previous 14k MH I had before. I started at 50% white but found it too yellow for my liking. It's very subtle change, so play around with percentages, walk away for a few minutes, then go back to see if you like it better.

Anyone heard ar tried led fixture from this company in Germany? They use 1 huge LED bulb instead of many individual smalled diodes.

There was an image of my tank a few pages back ( was funny to see that :spin3: ), I've recently moved everything to a new, bigger tank. Right now things seem to be adjusting to the move. I'm using a 6' AI lighting system.

All the SPS you see started as small 1" or so frags and have grown quite well under LEDs.

That is a Killer Tank , I love it .

Running 12 Royal Blue, 6 Cool white, 4 Neutral Whites, 1 Red. Soon will replace 4 Royal Blues for True Violets

Some really incredible tanks under LED lighting. I just received my 36" Vertex Illumina today! Cant wait to get it over the tanks! Its amazing how bright it is.
