Let's see the willi milli colonies out there

Anyone have a frag or colony of the willi milli? I had a decent size mini colony that I lost and haven't ran into any frags of it since. Post up your pictures if you have it.

You had an amazing tank. You are member "Goody" on the other forum right? I recognise the colourful SPS pics. I hope you took lots of photos before it was taken down.

It looks like this coral was a "California" thing in popularity some years ago. I did find an old thread and there is a pic of a colony, post #16 I think......

^^yeah, this was a popular milli out hear on California. I believe snipersps was the one that found this milli and distributed a few frags out. I've had it two different times and at first when small it's not the best looking and I almost sold it on both occasions. When it grows out and gets multiple branches it's a stunner for sure.

This is a beautiful piece for sure. I love Millepora's and this one I rate as one of the nicer ones.

Yeah I think so too. However, dont give up looking for it. Someone might just have one out there, can frag you a piece.

The thing is, there are loads of new pieces like the ReefRaft stuff etc, but I really like some of these "old school" sort of pieces that have been around a while before.

I cant wait to setup a larger tank hopefully next year...its NOT going to be SPS dominated: its going to be Millepora/Hyacinthus/Prostrata dominated.

^^^I love hunting down the old school pieces. I do know a person with the milli willi and hope to get a frag in the next month or so.

I do have the ReefRaft pieces and they are nice as well but it's hit or miss when it comes to coloring completely up. It really stincks when you spend good money one their stuff and it looks nothing like the original.

Yup, with some pieces there is a strong element of "hype" and not all are proven to colour up as well as whats shown in vendors photos...

Would love to see this piece being grown out still. So definitely post up a pic when you get hold of a frag.
