Very nice anemones and pictures!

Rbta colony & pair of percs. The male perc hides to tend the eggs a lot.
I gotta get a better camera than my cell phone. Started with one rbta & have 4 now. Seems to split every 1-2 years. I think there will be a split again in the next couple of months. They seem to go from all bubble ends to 1/2 bubble & 1/2 tapered for a while before the split happens.

This is the results of a zooxanthellae transplant. The anemone in the background was totally bleached. I harvested zooxanthellae from the anemone in the front, and fed it to the anemone in the back.

How do you do that? I see people mention this every so often and it always mystifies me.

Beautiful anemones!

Heres mine, I have had it about a year or so and has gotten huge. The picture is 6 months old and it is now the size of a beach ball. The base to top is approx 16 inches and is about 20 inches in diameter. Another fellow reefer is picking it up on Sunday for his tank.

Thank you.

You can take a healthy anemone with a large population of zooxanthellae and expose it to stronger light than it is accustom to. This will cause the anemone to discharge a portion of zooxanthellae. Then you just have to collect them, mix them with some food, and feed them to the bleached anemone. You can also cut a very small section of tissue containing zooxanthellae from the healthy anemone and feed it to the bleached one.

@elegance coral: I never knew you could do that!

@MarinaP: That is stunning. Are they all BTAs? I would love to see a FTS.

Out of curiosity, I know that clowns can host in anemones, but the picture of the one that the clown is in the mouth of the anemone up to his face...is he a goner?

No. It isn't uncommon for Saddleback clowns to dive into the mouth of an anemone -- usually a S. Haddoni.

Most of the time it won't cause any issue. However, if they stay inside (( fully inside the anemone, clown can't be seen )), too long it can cause an issue. A while back my female Saddleback dove into the mouth of one of my Haddoni -- I was doing a water change and must have scared her. She was in there for at least 5 minutes, but less then 10, when she came out she had lost a lot of scales on her face, and had "popeye" on her left eye. After that incident she was never the same, randomly darting around the tank for a couple of minutes and then just laying on the sandbed. That went on for about 3 weeks, and then one day I couldn't find her.

I just got this sparkly rose anemone. It's actually splitting at the moment.

Not the greatest picture. I'll try to get a better one tomorrow.
