Judging by those eyes and shell I would say you are looking at the Strombus alatus, aka Fighting Conch. :)

Here is one of my dwarf fuzzy lion, he died the day before yesterday from a bacterial infection from internal parasites. He was so pretty :(

Here is is playing peek-a-boo with his fin :)

no it was eating frozen krill, i only had it for about 2 weeks and it was fine then one day i woke up and its tail was gone. I thought something was picking on it, but that wasn't the case, it was a fast bacterial infection and the next day he was dead. :(
 
Obviously shrimp are a no-go with such a fish, but could one of those beauty's be kept with a royal gramma in a 29 (w/ sump)?

Beautiful shots that have rekindled an old obsession... ;)

Hmmm, I had one exactly like the one above ^, short story... Hubby brought home 2 firefish, and he ate both of them took the second even though the first's tail was hanging out of his mouth :lol: ... Good Luck!!!
