here is mine

Here is my 70 gallon sps dominated bb tank, still in planning phase, I started with about 50lbs of liverock, down to about 25lbs now. I think coral placement and growth patterns as well as types of corals should be strategically placed for optimal growth and coloration. I love ludnix's tank, really awesome use of corals and placement of them.

@matt
must say quite a nice layout and plenty swimming area

Thanks. I wanted it to be interesting, even without any fish or corals in it. Then, you can't lose, no matter what goes in there. The fish love swimming in and out of the rockwork, and since it's a peninsula, I can always see them!

Of course, that's only about 130 pounds of rock for a 125, so I put rock in the overflow and sump to help with the filtration.

Buzzy,

Very cool minimalist look. Reminds me of a Japanese sand garden. Is that all the rock you are going to have? Just thinking about filtration. Did you put more elsewhere in the system like I did?

Nice, interesting look. Does the tall structure on the right balance sufficiently on its own or is it secured somehow? And it is one single piece of rock or multiple pieces attached somehow? I think its slightly precarious appearance is a big contributor to the attractiveness here. I like this a lot. It pushes the artistic boundaries. It looks like Japanese kanji.

Also there appears to be a minimal fish load on the system. Congrats on the self-control there - it just adds to the beauty of this setup!

thanks for the nice comments

yes the right hand structure balances/stands by itself and is made up of 4 different rocks held with cable ties and reef putty( not sure what exact name of it is )
