Let's see your best looking clams!

here's a typical blue max w/ his buddies.

Sure...here's a left side shot. Others were from the right. Also, worthy of noting. I've given the tangs to someone with a larger tank.

And one of the tank straight on. There are a lot of coral frags laying around on the reef and substrate. I frag often and donate to Boston Reefers for the MACNA auctions. Pardon the miserable house keeping ;)

This shot was taken over the winter. The corals are about 1/4 larger now.

James - I can only say one word. WOW!
Those are some of the most beautiful clams I've ever seen!

Thanks Fishnerd!
Well, pic was taken without a light at all.
It was taken while I was cleaning the rocks in my tank, I took the clams out to a big plastic container .
How about the Green Clam on the side? : )
And again-Thanks for fishnerd for posting the pic.

That red teardrop is not James' clam. In fact that picture was taken and sold BUT THE PICTURE IS TOTALLY doctored. That clam was sold though and Typhoon bought it. He has since lost the clam to pinched mantle disease. That clam which I sought after for many months no longer exists.

hwynboy-
As I recall "A---P---"sold a very similar red teardrop, to a local (Los Angeles)
about a year ago. AP confirmed colors as accurate. Johnny/Brian where
are you?? Dennis (fish2223)

I know for a fact that...THAT particular teardrop was posted on a vendor's site and purchased by Typhoon....and it is now dead unfortunately....since he picked up that clam I have been looking for one JUST like it...to no avail. I keep asking Vili Shark but he can't...=0....oh well....the search continues.

What do ya mean ya keep asking me?
First, I cant recall you've asked me, and if you did I'm sorry if I did not answer.
Second,I'm not in the states, so it'll be kinda difficult for me to help ya get a Clam in the states if I'm not there.
I know some people who are selling those TD in the states , but they wont retail.
If you'll be one of the first in a Vietnam Clam shipment, you'll get few of those.
I think your best chance will be Barry from Clams Direct, e-mail him this pic and see what he says.
It is not a difficult Clam to get, you'll get it for sure.
It took me over a year to get the green clam on the pic that fishnerd post, now that was a difficult task. : )

It was almost 9 months ago Vili...you did answer me and told me that you weren't in the states =) but I have asked many people since then. Thanks for your help and insight as always. I'll check around again.

hwynboy
it's really not a big deal
i saw such clams before, all came from Vietnam.
ask Barry,he's well connected and have priority in cherry picking his clams.
I'm sure he can help ya.
Good Luck.
