somebody have an idea of how long is this colony?

acdraindrps: nice tank!

In the pics I posted after the one you quoted, the tank that milli is in is 36"x36". The colony is (guessing) almost two feet at its longest point. Its a monster for sure.

Also, the coral isn't mine. Just had the pleasure of holding it, and also see it regularly.

Here are some of mine

Thats cool, I have a frag of that colony I got from John. Mines getting big too, about the size of a small plate now. The prostrata I got from him is poised to soon take over my tank.

How purple/pink is it in your tank

Here are the "biggest" colonies I have in my tank!!!!

<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v127/ladyvina97/?action=view&current=0309010.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v127/ladyvina97/0309010.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v127/ladyvina97/?action=view&current=0309011.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v127/ladyvina97/0309011.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Keep in mind that these are in my 10 gallon reef tank which are GIANTS in nano perspective.

What's the secret to keeping the bottoms of these large corals alive? As they grow the tops shade out and steal flow from the bases, yet most of these big pieces the bases look totally viable?

bif monti

bif monti

This Monti has been drawing some attention lately - I guess anyone can grow these but I am happy with it.
