Lets see your BIG colonies!

Agreed - specially when you see all the colonies in the reef that are the same size. Anyone can buy a reef these days, it takes a little more time and skill to grow one.

agreed... now I think all the TOTMs are beautiful, but some of them just look like the owner went out and bought 100 maricultured minicolonies - that takes money, not time, dedication, effort, or skill. But I love seeing huge mature healthy colonies!

I'm digging through my pictures to see if I can find a full shot of it

I decided to just take a new one, not the best as the glass was dirty and pumps running

I saw that tank at Atlantis Marine World. It was like my heaven and mecca. Gotta be there to see it to appreciate the size of it.

AMW is one of the best aquaiums you can see. Living close by is a privalege. Seeing a "school" of Vlamingii's is really cool to see. easily the benchmark to set all other aquariums by. Joe and the biologists there do an amazing job keeping the public infomed and intrigued.

Yup, Joe's reef at Atlantis has to be considered one of, if not the greatest reef tanks in the entire world!! I have seen it firsthand on several occasions and I can literally sit there for hours just gazing at this living piece of art! Mind boggling indeed! Also, it's really cool to listen to the comments made by kids and even adults who have never seen a reef display up that close before, I wonder how many future reef hobbyist are born just from viewing that reef at Atlantis for the very first time??
