Rose bubble tip. Feed small piece of raw table shrimp and a squirt of mysis shrimp each 1x per week. Lighting is Viparspectra (Chinese black box) 165w LEDs.

Got him/her two weeks ago from a friend whose BTA kept splitting...

Nice! Do your corals ever sting your anemone? Should I be worried about spacing?
My anemone has stung my corals plenty, but the good thing about BTA's is that their sting is relatively mild, and as long as you don't just leave them there getting stung and move them within the day, they are fine. What I did is kept everything out of its way while it found its spot and routine, then put corals back where they are just out of arms reach. My BTA retracts back into the big "cave" every night and comes back out when lights come back on and is like clockwork. You can see where her foot is anchored back in there in the picture below. Seems to be working out alright!

OK thanks for the info. Mine has its foot attached to a nook under some rocks abs seems to be establishing a "schedule" too. I'll space corals carefully!

great looking BTAs. I'm thinking of switching over to dry krill. I've heard silversides doesn't really help brighten the colors.

April 15th I started with one rose about 8". Now, I have 8 with total span over 24". Yesterday we added two cb unpaired anemonefish; one took less than one minute to host, and the dove in in under four more minutes. I guess it needed a look around the tank first.

Why is one bubbling and a bit light shy and the other stretches out for light and does not bubble is still a mystery!
