Recently upgraded the tank for more depth (48x30x24)

Looks good. I like the extra depth. It makes for much more interesting aquascapes.

I love all the photos. Now I am not much at posting photos. But I can say that I took numerous photos while visiting the coast by Tillamook. Then I picked several favorites and had them made into posters. I put one above my tank and switch it out with another every few months. The current one is a close up of a tide pool, with a large star fish.

wow!! some really amazing rooms and tanks! my place is an 80' x 16' dog kennel. the danes let me live here.

i usually have cnn on. i listen to the news and watch my tank.

Nowhere near as fancy as others here. It's the kids play area. However I've got some ideas to incorporate in our next home after going through this thread

@usingthejohn - Actually, I think it's in a great location! I spent a good portion of my childhood with my nose pressed up against the glass of my father's aquariums (he liked freshwater "uglies" like cats, mud eels, bichor, and the like). I probably shouldn't even mention the pythons, boas, lizards, frogs, turtles, and such. I think I inherited that gene but took it to reefing. He always took the time to show, explain, and "let me help" - all of which made me the pain that I am today~!

My 180 setup in a lounging and relaxing area when the kids aren't hyped up on sugar. Sitting in a comfy recliner across from the tank to take this picture. Dinning room to the left and picture window with a long bench seat/storage to the right. Its dead quite with the sump in the basement.

Ignoring the tank for a moment, I have to say I really like the wood décor and accent. Looks nice. Of course the tank does too, but home layout is also very well done.

He probably took a picture of the tank and room separately with optimal lighting conditions and then transposed them. At least that's probably what I would've done and did with my picture that I posted, otherwise it's almost impossible for the camera to capture the lighting of the room and the tank together.

Nothing wrong with that and the end result is an amazing picture. Plus I think he's also a professional photographer hence the reason his pictures are so amazing .
