~Lets see your nano aquascaping~

This tank is brand new (30 days old) but in an effort to remain un-cubed, this is what I came up with for a 10g.

I prefer a natural look and I think it came out ok. Corals are still being added, but mostly softies as you can see. I wanted it to look like an arch fro left to right...

WOW!
I made that my desktop background!!

What's the time differnence there? Is the bottom photo of the tank at 1 year?

Looks good guys. Junkitu, i've already said I like yours... but Bloke's is new to me. I like the clean look you've got. Your rock looks pretty solid.

Let's hope it stays so clean, for your sake!

Yeah, the rocks are pretty solid. The tank is clean for now, but it's less than 6 weeks old. It has a DSB of 4" and a sump filled with macroalgae so my nitrates are zero keping bad algae from forming (for the most part.)

Aquascaping takes an artistic eye, but also some foresight into coral placement and growth. Unfortunately most hobbyists with reef tanks lack either aesthetic ability or foresight and quite often both.

However it's been quite a pleasure looking through this thread as more nano reefers seem to have that special gift. To me there is nothing nicer in this hobby then to look at a tank and remember or compare it to a past dive.

Wow, this is a great thread...why not keep it going?! Here's my recently upgraded 20 (from 15, from 10) pretty much been going for almost 2 years now.

I also had a 2.5g pico, but it didn't look as sweet as some I've seen here. I was fighting some nasty algae outbreaks that I couldn't get a handle on, so I broke it down...threw the livestock into the 20. I might just get inspired and try to tweak my setup a bit and get it going again though.

here's my 5. it's this way for now but i tend to move things a lot. it looked completely different 2 weeks ago. all my corals were started as frags. i guess they still are but i'm workin' on that.
