Lets see your ORA Hawkins Echinata colonies

This is definitely one of my favorite SPS coral. I have a small colony that has been growing steadily in my tank but I'd like to see how it's going to look when it grows into a good size colony. If you got it....flaunt it!

This coral is so nice. I love how it can look blue, purple or green based on your lighting. I just want it to grow faster

Its definitely one of the nicer captive raised turaki's on the market.

I can email pics of a good sized colony grown from an ORA micro colony. It's about 5" wide and 3" thick now growing. It's growing "around" a large leather and a staghorn. It's about 8mos old. It's deep blue/turqoise under the hammy 10ks. I recently changed to phoenix 14ks and it is dark/light blue.

the one in my 175 is just getting started.

Can somebody host pics?

Mine frag is growing well, but still more beige than green/blue. What's the ideal lighting/flow/nutrient level to get it colored up?

I have mine very low in the tank with moderate flow. Looks good so far...to my eyes that is.

Until it gets larger its really hard to ID any coral, but the branch structure has pretty much ruled out it being an echinata. The rounded tips combined with the structure of the branches point many to believe that it is a turaki.
