Let's see your rare wrasses!!!!

I wouldn't call any of these incredibly rare anymore but just to get some more pics in this thread :)
Eightline

Pintail

Cf lunatus (Could be the pintail, hard to tell in the pic, they look very similar at this point)

Marjorie

Johnsoni

Earlei

Rhomboid

Kuiteri

Looking at it, I agree. I guess I don't have one of the cf. lunatus, they do look really close at this point though.

I have a couple of each...the lunatus/Cressant tails have more black on dorsal fins and tails ... I've seen them mislabeled on wholesale lists as 'blackfin fairy wrasse'

I dont know, but to me it appears to be developing little "nubs" at the top of the tail, which could make it cf. lunatus or it could be one of the hybrids that occur between cf. lunatus and cf. lanceolatus.

That's what I see as well, plus the lateral stripe is thicker and lower on the body like cf. lunatus typically is too.

I can tell them apart in person but it's hard in pics. When I first got them the pintail was half the size but now they're about the same. I'll try to get some new pics this weekend.
Here they are in the bucket when I first got them.

I know it's a terrible pic but you can see the lunate shape of his tail.

Yeah, I thought I recalled that pic a bit as well. Certainly a cf. lunatus, but it's reverted some since then.

Love the lunatus and earlei.
Aqua- Rosefascia is beginning to run the tank wrasse wise. He has grown substantially since he transitioned after the male died.
But there is so many screaming around that aggression is dispersed.

Total wrasse list is
2 eight line
2 yellow coris
2 flames
Cf lancelatus
Lineatus
Labouti
Rosefascia
Balteatus
Rosy scales
Tricolor
Solorensis female
Blue spot tamarin
Blue sided fairy.

I believe that is all....

I've had three diamond tails now, they do great in QT but never transition well once in the DT. I'm watching for nahacky as well, haven't seen any for a while. I'm also thinking about an orange back.

I have a few rare wrasses....
