Let's see your rare wrasses!!!!

All these fish are gorgeous! This thread is making it tough for me to decide what type of wrasse I want for my 65 gallon :)

Crappy picture but you get the point ;) Still in QT with a rubbermaid container full of sand and eating very well. He's a smaller guy, but swims around the tank. Had him for a week now.

Hi All,

I've just acquired a unique wrasse. It's sort of like a hawkfish, but it is extremely passive..

Red Striped Cryptic Wrasse - Pteragogus cryptus

Wondering if you guys could give me some advice. My 220 is cycling and am planning my fish list. Mostly fairies and flashers. Is there any particular order that II should be introducing them? Females before males? Anything I should take into consideration for a peaceful tank?

Thanks everyone

Nothing rare but a nice team shot.

Bobkill: the wrasses are (in order): Harlequin Tusk (Philippines), Radiant Wrasse, Black Leopard Wrasse, Red Head Wrasse, Red Velvet Fairy Wrasse, Mystery Wrasse, and Blue Sided Wrasse..

That Black Leopard is a real fighter. They say they are not easy to get eating; he ate very soon. He survived a Marine Velvet outbreak that killed more than 20 fish. And he survived a crab taking a big chunk of flesh off his side. A true survivor..

For photos, just put on Photobucket and it gives you an imbed take for each photo. Very easy.

I'm not sure what this guy is. A buddy says its a hybrid. Another person I know good at fish ID says is Paracheilinus cyaneus.
