Let's see your rare wrasses!!!!

Just realized I never posted on here. So here you go Brett:

P. attenuatus:

Not nearly as awesome as some others I have seen on this site, but my transitioning C. cf lanceolatus:

Not at all rare, but got a decent shot of my submale C. lineatus:

Male P. bellae:

Female P. bellae, with a male C. bathyphilus:

And a couple pair shots to end it:

Thanks Brett! I guess I should apologize :)

Nah, if my first Attenuatus would have cooperated Id have one in the budget but he had to go into a panic attack cause my kuiteri looked at him funny. Wish me better luck with the second one. I'd rather look at pics of your than not see any at all. Amazing fish, hopefully we'll see some new ones flutter in this year.

What happened to your Attenuatus? Jumped and knocked itself out?

If it makes you feel any better, my Attenuate is my 3rd...first two were DOA.

He was great all the way through QT, went in the DT and got spooked and was never the same again. He darted out of the rocks like a freak here and there and then disappeared one day. I never even saw any chasing, if anything he was the bully at first. I hope this one goes better. He'll be going in the same time as a Linespot and pintail.

I've had 2 flashers get all stupid and die from being 'scared' of a critter. Nothing chasing them, no nipping, I just watched them freak out and bury in a rock.

I had a carpenter freak out on my docile black tang and smash into a glass top. He lasted 6 weeks in a rock. Then a mccorskers got all scared of my tomini and did the same thing. They came out of the rock every few days for about 30 seconds. It was lame.

Honestly thats the reason I missed out on this opportunity. I also lost a trio of 8 line flashers but that was from shipping stress and forgetting to turn my sump back on a little. Flashers scare me.

Mine is the boss of the "smaller" wrasses in my tank (all but my Hooded and Labout's that are larger). Sorry to hear your troubles. I do hope the new one is fine. I imagine adding it along with the two others will definitely help!

On a side note, my tiny female P. bellae is all over my 125. She's so small no one else pays any attention at all. Surprised me a bit how "outgoing" she is.

Marshall I forgot did you have one or two C. cf lanceolatus? I think I said this before but with mine he didn't do much until I added a second juv female then he when into over drive with the flushing of blue colors.

His dorsal fin extends fully up and he does his up and down dance which she wants really no part of and swims away. I notice this act happens more often when the radions go into dusk mode (heavy blue and uv).

I need to buy a good camera so you can see it.

I thought that I had posted this before, but I don't see it so...
Was labeled Crescent tail wrasse...
Sorry for 'stress' colors, have to try for better pic

Mine hasn't developed near as much black and is a lot more of a pinkish color, really similar to my johnsoni and pintail.
