Just confirming as well Sunday Feb 11 8:00 A.M. @ Crystal Cove state park at the Reef point area this is the last stoplight before going down the hill into Laguna there is a sign on the street light marking it as Reef point turn right and you are there.
where is divers from california cold water pictures? all those are taken vacation dives?? : ) no hood, no glove and skinsuit only?? my dream dive is without my 7mm wetsuit chocking my neck preventing me to breath & gasping for an air.
Yep frogiii, all vacation dives except for Sharkdude's freedive pic Anyways if it rains I will not be able to make it b/c of the bacteria levels. I had an infection once and it took me 10 weeks to get well and 3 course of antibiotics.....
right now the forecast is calling for rain showers over the next 3-4 days. We will evaluate the conditions Sunday morning when we meet at the beach. If not everyone is in agreement to dive then we will cancel the dive and try again either the next week or the week after that.
Yeah, lets decide on saturday after looking at the forcast for sunday. I really don't wanna rent my airtank and have it rain.
We could shoot for another weekend if we have to cancel.
I vote for Sunday, Feb 25th.
we were told there would be sharks but we didnt get to see any.
and if it rains i will not be coming ( i dont need hep.) lol
we did see some dolphins and some turtles.
looks like its going to be raining, compliments of yahoo forecast... i'll check the night before, and give everyone a call saturday to give final yes / no answer. so make sure if your coming, i have ur fone number in my PM box
Even if there are rain showers Saturday night I am still willing to meet if anyone else is to at least check the vis. I have made a number of trips after rain showers the night before with little affect on vis. It is at least worth a surf check in Laguna Sunday morning
