With the explosion of LED on the market and all the comparisons to existing systems, what's it really mean to the everyday reefer?
I've never seen or heard of a recommended par for a single coral I've purchased.

After upgrading from MH's to AI's I purchased a par meter to better acclimate my system and now find it frustrating that very little info can be found on acceptable par readings on various coral.

I'm sure stock in par meters have exploded since the trend and I hope this info will be more available to the hobby.

Nice article...wish more info like this was available.
No wonder my purple Stylophora doesn't look right, at 700-1000 par so much for my mixed reef with the AI's!
