Aquaworkz in sac always has them!..Ernesto usually keeps them quarantined for a few weeks before he puts them up for sale...he had a huge red one for like 400$ last time I went and also a blue one(150$) and a purple one(120$)....I think the green ones are 60$
If you inquire at Your Reef, they have gigantea offsite in QT from time to time. They're a bit pricey for worth the cost if you've never QTed a gigantea before. AFAIK none of the shops in the Bay Area QT (meaning with Cipri or another antibiotic) their carpets prior to putting them up for sale.

Your Reef is located in Roseville (about 1.5 hours away from SF) but when they had gigantea, as I mentioned they were held offsite. I don't remember what colors they had the last time I inquired.
Aquatic Collection gets gigantea from time-to-time, but the general health of each specimen varies quite a bit.
Blue Zoo just sent me an email a couple of days ago stating that they had them in stock. Out of about 6 that I ordered from them, only one survived though it's currently thriving.
