There is not the variety out here in New Jersey like I have seen in California. How many of you all would ship to New Jersey, or know a good online store to purchase coral?

I knew a few fellow reefers that would ship back in the day, however I don't know these days.

Depends on what you're looking for. Best online vendors I've worked with

Cherrycorals
Worldwide Corals
Battlecorals
Rocky Mountain Frags
AquaSD
Alldelight corals
Jason Fox Signature Corals

Good weekend to buy. Most are having sales

I know Rik (hi,Rik) doesn't care for Vivid but I've always been pleased with my purchases and even use their shipping since its convenient, cheap,& well packed.

Rocky Mountain frags are good too, haven't tried any of the others on Rik's list yet.

Hope Jersey is being good to you :)

Tidalgardens.com

Aquariumcreations.com

Cultivatedreef.com

These are some good ones with normal prices. Most of the ones i saw above seem to only have pricey rare pieces and limited stock.

Hope Jersey is being good to you :)

Gina,

I would not say NJ being great to me, but best way i can put it is... I have been blessed with a good job for a great company, wife and kids are doing very well, have a decent size property, and well into the planning stages for my dream tank (not to forget my nano cube). Here are a few pics of my back yard, although you cant see how all of my property you can see how peaceful it looks.

oh in the picture of my man cave, the tank i am planning is going on the wall where i am taking the picture of. My current nano cube is now where my popcorn machine is on the back wall.

Hi back  haven't seen you around for a while. Vivid has nice corals. The customer service was less then stellar to me but a worthwhile recommendation for sure.

my folks lived years in south jersey and it's beautiful. Your pics reminds me of where they lived.

Hi Friendlyvission. It's been at least three years since you have been here right? As you can see, lots of change but there are still a few of us from back in the day haha. I would ship, if I knew how :)

Sorry I can't be more help, but wanted to say hello.

I was there yesterday and they had some nice corals in their WYSIWYG section for online sales.

Spring and Fall are usually the best times of the year to ship across the country based on weather. Keep in mind that even overnight shipments may make a pitstop somewhere extremely hot or cold which will add stress to livestock. Ice/heat packs help but still not ideal.

Well,it's very pretty and serene, definitely a step up for you.
So glad things worked out for you and the family, good luck with your tank set-up, it's going to look amazing in your man-cave, for sure!

RAP NY is at The Meadowlands.

Although it is not NYC, East Rutherford is still a pain. I really dislike driving anywhere near NYC and keep away unless i really have to for work or picking up anyone from airport.
