Lf: Rainbow Tenius

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone had one of those rainbow tenius that everyone is starting to post online. Haven't seen anyone put the name out there. Maybe like vivids retro rainbow?

I've been drooling over the Obscura Reefs ones. Have you guys had good luck with them? Fast growers?

I used to think Vivid was THE shop in California till I visited them last year. It was disappointing. They didn't even have a colony of Confetti they could show me. Reminded me of the old Aquarium Concepts in Dublin.

If you're looking for the super high end stuff, Dan's definitely the place to go. He spares no expense!

Did you go into the back area? About a year ago I visited on my drive home from LA and when I started asking about SPS one of the salespeople took me into the back. I did see their confetti colony, which I had no idea what it was but it was so eye catching I asked. I think they wanted something like $300 for a frag of it, which wasn't happening, but it was nice. Nothing in the front of the store was particularly interesting, but multiple pieces in the back were impressive, but at premium prices.

Yeah, they took me back there and they had a couple tanks. They told me they had been doing a lot of fragging on the confetti colony... They did have some colorful frags in the back tanks.

There corals are hard to keep. Talk to many people that feel the same

Unless you blast your tank with 1200 plus par you'll have a hard time getting the color in the pics.
