LF Reeflo Dart Pump

I haven't been on the board forever and my tank has been in auto pilot mode. I'm at the point of trying to determine whether to tear it down or continue to dream of bigger things. The current setup is a 150 lookdown Rubbermaid stock tank.

I was just on vacation and realized my Reeflo Dart Pump seized. I'm considering sending it in to get it rebuilt. Has anyone done that before? Is it worth it or should I find an alternative solution? Does anyone have one sitting around collecting dust that I can either borrow or buy? I haven't had a return pump going in days already.

I haven't sent any of mine back into Reeflo however dealing with them they were very helpful so I suspect the process wouldn't be bad.

That said the market for used Reeflo pumps doesn't seem very strong, you can probably get a used one for fairly cheap. Hell I've got two hammerheads sitting here I can't manage to sell, so I'd think you should be able to find a dart as well. I'd let you borrow one however both need the seals replaced on them.

Ya, I'll probably send mine in to get serviced. Would love to track a temporary one down for the meantime though. Looking for 1.5 input/output.

as long as it has a baldor motor, i think most of the time they can rebuild. if not, i think they give you a decent price on a replacement. If it has a A.O. Smith motor, I don't think it can be rebuilt.I need to send some spares in my self.

How do I know which motor is which? It doesn't say anything about either.

Never mind on all of this. My pump is 12 years old and Reeflo said that they could not repair it. I got to either by an new one or figure out an exit strategy.

I have a dart gold that Needs (I believe) a new seal. You can have it for free if you like and want to come to Cary to p/u.
