looking for:

SL2 module, PH and salinity probe...anybody?

does anyone use the hanna alk tester, do they work and accurate?

Me Too, Very accurate and easy to use. Make sure if you order to get the latest version with the liquid reageant as they are much easier to use than the powder stuff.

Jay,

you will do best ordering your ph probe. brs has em at a good price..brs brand works fine...

SL2's are rare to see for sale used on their own. Salinity probes are in demand right now as DA had to re-design them with a new manufacturer and just got them back in stock. you'll need to buy it from DA.

Andy, Are they making good on the old ones that didn't work right? As Mel has my RKE that the Salinity probe never worked. If i remember we paid 99.00 bucks for those!

Just my opinion, but stay away from the cheap BRS probes. They had to replace 2 of them out of the box for me. BRS has excellent customer service, but the probes suck. They are some cheap chinese brand and all of them that I got had no solution on the probe. It was all dried up and crusty. Not worth the risk for a few bucks if you are going to use it in a controller with something being controlled by it.

Yes Bill they are. Contact DA support and they will take carebof you.

As for BRS probes, I never had an issue and several over a year old..maybe a bad run there Rick. It happens.

Definately possible. I am using one now as just a standard PH probe (the 3rd one that was shipped to me). I could not get the other 2 to even calibrate correctly. It was just too much a hassle. Just spend $10 more and get a Milwaukee one. I have had one of those in my CaRx for over a year and had no issues. Only had to calibrate it once. Just left a bad taste with 2 of 3 being bad.
