Ah yes young children and aquariums a dissaster waiting to happen. My nephew came over one day and walked over to my sump and pushed the light into the water within two seconds sparks flew and I freaked luckily nothing was injured or damaged except for the burned up light now the sump is covered lesson learned.

My kids are 3 and 5. I can say with 100% certainty that they would never put anything in my tank. We have even talked about it. They know the rules. They are never'r allowed to open the cabinets or feed the fish or touch the water unless they have permission. They are well behaved and I trust that they wouldn't.

Most other children would not be allowed unsupervised near my system! :rollface:
