just so everyone knows this situation HAS been resolved.
Pierre unfortunately had no idea about the situation or the thread until i called him. I told him what was going on and he of course wanted to help fix the situation.
He had no idea that Anthony had the old style pump. The old style pump had accidentally gotten marked when the new style pumps came in, thinking it was just a price increase.
If anthony had called and told him to begin with that he thought he got overcharged and had the old style pump it would have been resolved asap. And would have been given a refund. But he didnt, instead he chose to come to the forum with it being egged on by others.
This just shows how ridiculous these threads can be. It was a simple pricing error, and Pierre never being informed by the purchaser that there was a problem.

Anthony has worked for me for at least 6 years now. I think I know him pretty well and would not consider him a liar.

you guys tricked me with "robbery" in the title 20min Iam not getting back
CC must charge at least a minimum of 14% more for everthing than FAOIS as they are open an additional day per week. I noticed this when I was recently in and the FAOIS price on an MP40 was ~ $375 while the same pump, a mile away, was ~$425. This being said CC is an awesome store to browse, even given the higher prices. John is great and I am in the process of buying an expensive custom produict from him right now that no one else in town could produce. That being said, when you need a pump on a Sunday. . . ? I would have loaned you mine, but you have to do it sometimes. CC is a pretty impressive store regardless of wether you buy anything or not. No one has a greater selection of coral . . . no one in the area is better than John. On a final note, CC does meet prices and any time you buy something voluntarily, no one is stealing from you. Complaining about a personal "use" of funds vs. a "source" of supply seems silly. . . simple supply and demand economics would say that the pump was necessarily priced at equilibrium at the time of purchase ( though it may chap the arse to pay that much).

Would you be so adamit if it was Marine Warehouse, St Pete Marine, FAOIS? Maybe Petco??
