I've had these for over 2 years. I was told they are called Peekaboo, but I recently saw 3 different names used to describe what looks to be these. One of the names I remember as Melon - Don't recall the other two. Also don't think I've ever heard the name Peekaboo anywhere else.

Just curious if anyone knows what they're really called. TIA ;)

Most people call them water melons or eagle eyes, they are all the same thing don't get caught up in the name game it will only cause you trouble in the long run. They are very hardy zoas and they grow relatively fast for most reefers.

Hi Jarred- I was looking through coralpedia *after* posting this - stupid me for not paying attention. It's definitely one of the 7 or 8 different Wam'n Watermelons. Yes, I am aware of how fast they grow ;)

Thanks for your help. VERY nice dragonette!

agree with above. They are easy and fast growers they look more like eagle eyes to me but them and watermelons are so close its rediculous so either way your good.

I can see how you'd think they could be eagle eyes, Paul - but they're definitely watermelons. For 2 years+ it wasn't important to know what they were. It is a pain because so many look very similar. Hey, I did get to ID them and 2 others I have, so I'm in good shape :D
