Lieutenant Tangs

I see these on Live Aquaria, but I have noticed that very few people here have one. Why do people seem to prefer the powder browns over these? My guess would be temperament, but I am actually genuinely curious about why people seem to prefer other tangs to these.

I think under typical LFS lights and in store they often look grey and dull, but once they are stress free and in proper conditions and good light I think they are pretty, especially as juveniles, and their personality is very similar to naso, rather peaceful as tangs go for both.
They are actually my second favorite after naso for those reasons.
LA lists them as lieutenant but many call them tennenti tangs
This is my first one as a juvenile

I love 'em, I have an orange shoulder which is very similar. Awesome personality and dances as it swims. Much more beautiful in person.

I had one for a long time. The most peaceful tang I have ever had and I have had around 10 other types. Even when adding another tang he didn't bother him. Does look better with reef lighting.

I currently have a 5-6 inch one now and they are the most peaceful fish I have, but will hold his own. I love him. I think people shy away from them because of their color and that they do need a decent size tank due to their active swimming behaviors. 150 and 125 gallons are the average size tank for most hobbyist, so as you reference a powder brown, they can go into one of those tanks easily.
