LifeReef CLF1 Compact Sump/Skimmer System
<HR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff; COLOR: #ffffff" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Selling my LifeReef CLF1 Compact Berlin Sump and SVS2-24 w/Mag 9 pump system. Jeff at LifeReef modified the sump's design during construcion to incorporate a 3-gal ATO chamber. Sump is 26" long. Also including a Mag 3 pump that I used as my return. Manufactured in November 09, have the paperwork. Everything is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Paid $760
Asking $520 for the set. Prefer local sale due to size of the sump, so shipping is not included. I am located near Syracuse NY.

$460 for the set

The last skimmer and sump you will ever need, built like a tank, excellent quality. LifeReef equipment is quality. Rated up to 200 gals I believe.

Thanks Ken

This LifeReef sump and skimmer with the mag 9 pump purchased new would now cost you well over $900 shipped from CO and you would be on a waiting list for two months. These aren't mass produced, each piece of equipment is flawless when it leaves Jeff's shop. He is a stickler for quality and you pay for it. I am also including a Mag 3 pump which I used as a return pump for my Elos Mini tank. This set is only 5-months new! I guarantee you will not be dissapointed with the quality/craftsmanship of the LifeReef equipment. The skimmer is very productive and easy to set up/operate - has a large collection cup also. Bueller?

Well everything else has been sold except for the LifeReef sump/skimmer combo. I need to sell this off and close out my 4th and final participation in the hobby. Reefs and business travel just don't mix. $400 for the set, local pickup only.
I will also include the remaining frozen/refrigerated foods I have left (some Rod's, some cyclop-eeze, 3 - 8oz packs of mysis, pack of blood worms & DT's 30ml oyster eggs), and a large bottle of DT's Phyto 15oz. I think that is everything. That's probably at least $70 in quality foods alone.

I got the controller and lights today..! cant wait to get the tank to house it all.

Thanks for your time and help.

Ken

The skimmer is rated up to 250-gals. Jeff at Lifereef said the sump was good for up to 200-gals when he constructed it for me - bio load can vary that some. I had some revisions done to the standard CLF1 design when it was being built to better fit my system's requirements.

Its a sweet setup for sure. I've been eyeballing it but I just don't think it's what I need. Somebody should jump on this.

I wish it was for sale at this price when I was looking for a used setup on URS/ReefCentral! I'm really surprised it hasn't sold yet.

i keep going back and forth between, keeping a 180, dropping down to a 150 or 120, or going to a marineland 200DD tank. Until I know whats going on with selling our house and moving, I'm not prepared to buy anything. This set up was nice enough to have me strongly consider it. For anyone who's not running a basement sump, that's a sick under the tank set up and a great price for a really nice skimmer. And just to verify, I don't believe aqualab and I have ever met. So this is not a "set up".

Thanks Capt, I appreciate the plug. I believe we may have passed each other once or twice while at ABC, but have never formally met.

Man, I want this! It would be so awesome for when I upgrade someday. Let me check with the hubby, check the finances, and I'll get back to you.
