Light/Flow Question

Not really... often if there's not enough light zoas will extend their base almost in an effort to reach more light. However, it's a good sign that it won't be dying anytime soon :)

gotcha ... well, they don't look like they are pulling themselves towards the light, just open. the lfs made these guys out to be really easy to care for, but after reading the zoa threads here I am a little worried about them.

If they are not reaching for light then they are fine. For the flow you want as much indirect flow that they will take without them closing up.

They are fine, easiest thing to take care of next to mushrooms which are hard to kill no matter what.

I leave mine in direct flow, lots of light, no light... all of it and they are fine. They will adapt to it.
