light question

if i buy a 250 wat MH pendant http://www.aquacave.com/detail.aspx?ID=866 and a 2x250 watt MH ballast http://www.aquacave.com/detail.aspx?ID=1173 will i be able to plug just 1 light into it with out anything goint wrong?

You should be fine if the ballast has two switches. I'd check with the vendor on that.
